Overview: Larry R. Williams, better known as the R&B sensation LX, first discovered his singing ability at an early age, and realized his passion for being a professional artist at 20 years of age. Larry at a young age would sing around the house. His mother was the first to notice that her son had a gifted voice. At that time, though, LX was focused on other things. In Feb. of 1998, Larry joined the U.S. Army and served as a U.S. Reserve, searching for that right niche in his life. His search ended when he returned to his hometown of Glendora. Returning home to his roots helped guide Larry back to what he truly loved....music. LX's music career could be categorized as a long ride home. He considers his career as being a long learning process. Self-recording, engineering himself, recording out of a room in his house, these things were the building blocks and foundations to a promising future.
