Seasons Of The Wolf formed October, 1988. The original founding members are lead vocals Wes Waddell, guitarist/producer Barry “Skully” Waddell, and keyboards/studio engineer Dennis “Dr. Samurai” Ristow. Current line-up includes Mark Empire on drums, and Steve Satyr on bass. SOTW has recorded, entirely self-financed, self-produced, and released 4 albums on their own Earth Mother Music label. Songs from the first 2 SOTW albums were marketed to 500 college radio stations during fall 1998 and fall 1999 by The Syndicate Metal Department. Songs - Victim Of Darkness, October Moon, Lost In Hell, and Abandoned City placed in top 10 charts at several college radio stations during that time. Diehard self promotion has built a loyal and growing worldwide fan base for SOTW and developed a solid reputation in the industry. SOTW has also been involved with the Independent Film Industry. Their music has been featured in 9 horror, sci-fi, and thriller film soundtracks available in Blockbuster and Hollywood video stores.
