Overview: Blank Tape has been together since 2004. Consisting of Lennon Livesay (vocals/guitar), Fonzie Sandler (guitar/vocals) Efrain Lopez (bass) and Alan Penton (drums/vocals).
In the spring of 2006 they won the City of Pembroke Pines sponsored Battle of the Bands, winning a slot opening for country star Josh Turner .
Their shows at the Talent Farm in Pembroke Pines have broken records.
On Sunday, January 28th, 2007, at Club Cinema in Pompano Beach, Blank Tape performed as the opening act at The Sheila Witkin Memorial Reunion Concert which featured The Romantics and Johnny Depp . This concert was made into a rock documentary film that was featured at both the Palm Beach Film Festival and the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival.
