  BIOGRAPHY
City Island is a group of two brothers, P.I.M.P & SACATRIS. who were born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and grew up in Lawrence and Lowell, Massachusetts.

They have been involved in music since 1994 when they used to play with casette recorders and boomboxes. It wasn't until 2002 when they got serious about making music. By then, SACATRIS took a job in Albany, NY and brought P.I.M.P with him. They started their own music studio (JR Productions) with a Yamaha keyboard and a karaoke machine.

In mid-2003, they moved to Cleveland OH when SACATRIS was transfered by his day-job. Meanwhile, their music studio kept expanding. They kept recording and fine-tuning their skills. In 2004, SACATRIS went back to Puerto Rico to meet his brother-in-law, POLO, who sang reggaeton. Later that year, SACATRIS brought POLO to Cleveland and the three formed a group. Shortly after, they met a Cleveland R&B singer (Bigg Rodge) at a house party and he bacame the 4th person in the group. Soonafter, they did their first few shows in Cleveland. In early 2005, P.I.M.P and SACATRIS met a local DJ in Lorain OH who had a cousin (LUCK), who was into flowing in southern-style hip-hop. He bacame the 5th member of the group.

A week later the nameless group began doing shows all over Cleveland, Lorain, Youngstown OH and Lawrence, MA. They performed at Club Koozma for the Rap Phenomenons (formerly The Rap Olimpics), Lost City (now called Envy) , 2005's Festival Yaucano and Puerto Rican Festival, El Tropical Lounge, Club Vagus, Belindas, Club Coyote, Luna del Mar and Club Kiki's (Lorain OH), Fiesta mananera (Youngstown OH), and Club Galaxia (Lawrence MA) for Power800 AM. They were refered to as JR Productions. Eventually they came up with the name City Island (Music developed in the city that reflects the HOT carribean sound).

In early 2006, for various reasons, the group split up and was reduced to just "P.I.M.P and SACATRIS" (That became the group name).

P.I.M.P & SACATRIS have completed an album called, H.A.R.D (Hip-hop and Reggaeton Dynasty) Album. The H.A.R.D Album includes collaborations with many artists including Souljah Boy and Mama Jazz (original MO-THUG members). The beats were produced by MACHO (El Rey De Las Melodias), Dirty Red who has co-produced on projects for BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY, P.I.M.P, and SACATRIS. Now, they are working on H.A.R.D Album II.
