Overview: Singing is my passion and an enormous part of my life. I have just released my first solo album, “Mixed Emotions,” which is the culmination of a singing career that started in school, moved on to my college a cappella group (the Dissipated Eight at Middlebury College), and then led to the studio. The album is personally special to me because I got to work with my Dad (who writes songs and also Executive Produced the album) and my brother (who sang background on three of the songs). For me, singing is one of those things that makes life so special. The fact that wherever you are, no matter how old you are, you can open your mouth and music comes out is such an amazing thing and one of the main reasons that I love to sing. No matter how hectic life gets, when I sit down at a piano and sing, everything else seems to fade away. Music speaks to people like very few things can, and it has the power to touch people in a completely unique way. It really is true that music is magical.
