Cinco Doce was founded by Valente Aguirre, Francisco “Cisco” Aguirre, Edward “Buck” Aguirre,
Josh Gauna, Jesse “Jay” Moya and Thomas Diaz. Having grown up in or around the Live Music Capitol of
the World each individual musician developed unique styles to their music. Though their roots range from
Conjunto and Cumbia to Urban R&B and Hip Hop, they have been able to develop a unique sound which is
taking the nation by storm.
Due to their ability to play a variety of music at the drop of a dime they have been able to develop a
unique twist to this cumbia band. Many of their songs have been infl uenced by various styles of Latin and
American music such as Bachata, Reggaeton, Hip Hop and Rock.
Moreover, due to this experience and infl uence people of various backgrounds and all ages tend to fall in
love with their music. Their rhythmic cumbias send these new found fans in a frenzy causing them to stir
up the dance fl oor.
From nightclubs to concerts, Cinco Doce is determined to set the mood and seriously bring the entertainment.
With a new management team and high expectations the group believes it can exceed their previous
accomplishments from their fi rst band A.T.M., a one time chart topping recording artist for Univision and
Keeping traditions the group will continue to Wow the crowd with a lot of interaction and high energy
Cinco Doce is currently in the studio recording their debut record, and will be performing throughout
the year promoting to the fans their highly anticipated record. Cinco Doce doesn’t only consider themselves
as a band, but as a blood bonded family. After all, majority of this group is family.
“Our main goal is to keep our fans happy, keep’em dancing, because after all cumbia is a dance”
says, Buck (vocalist/rapper/writer).
Cinco Doce’s music is their trademark, and that will keep them different from all other bands. The
music demonstrates many of today’s style of production topped on a traditional cumbia bounce, which allows
the dance fl oors to keep moving.
“We didn’t want to take away from tradition, we just want to add a little of our lifestyle with it” says,
Cinco Doce is categorized under Latin-Pop, Regional-Mexican, and Tejano Cumbia.
