Overview: Mob Type is a name that stems from a lifestyle that they represent. The group consists of members, G-jon and 6s, two brothers who shared a lot of their experiences and lessons of life together through a brotherhood that still remains strong. Both brothers were born in Queens, New York and would later move to the Metro Detroit area where they live today. They descend from the Albanian ethnicity where families are carried with respect, and traditions are followed pridefully. Music, generally Hip Hop, has always been a big part of 6s and G-jon's life. Though, they both write for different purposes, music has been a true expression of what they observe everyday. Their influence is themselves, because it was them who seen what blood, sweat, and tears has taken them. Mob Type has recently recorded their first single, One Night, which will be played in cities across America. The brothers hope to use Hip Hop as a stepping stone to enlighten those less fortunate who have nobody to turn to.
