Overview: Deffine is an Albertan rap artist currently residing in Edmonton. His music both examines and represents the day to day struggles of an almost famous rap artist. With a growing resume of shows all over western Canada and a January release date of his first album 'My Definition' Deffine, at just 22, has proven himself to be a hardworking and focussed artist. Currenty in the final stages of completing his debut Album entitled My Defintion (January 2010) Deffine has begun performing accross Canada and he is steadily building the buzz about his promising rap career. The album is a 16 track long spectacle of his life with verses about being broke, girls and the struggles and victories one deals with in being a musician. It's a diverse mix of styles from deeply inspired rhymes to obnoxious party music. Overall the genre can best be described as uptempo agitated but conscious rap music on catchy instrumentals.
