Overview: Kate and Jill have been playing music together casually for the past few years. Las Hermanas originally started as a side project while Kate was playing with The Sleepy Animals and also a solo/acoustic project in Richmond, VA, and Jill was drumming with The Winslows in Washington, DC. After realizing how creatively and musically compatible they really are, Las Hermanas has become their primary focus. Their first EP was recently recorded at Inner Ear Studio in Arlington, VA and are looking forward to playing as many shows as they possibly can! Oh, and they are sisters.
