Born in Houston, Texas, Marcellus got his roots singing in choir as a child. He began writing songs and dancing at an early age.

During his adolescence, Marcellus participated in various extracurricular activities aside from music such as acting and football. He even hosted his very own FM radio show. After graduating from high school, Marcellus was accepted into Berklee College of Music, the worlds top contemporary music institution.

Following his stint at Berklee, Marcellus' independent efforts earned a performance at The Staples Center. In front of a roaring crowd of 19,000 +, Marcellus belted the 'National Athem' to a screaming applause. This sensational performance can be viewed virally on YouTube. He currently resides in Hollywood, California.
