Overview: Country blues rocker Mike McCarroll is a singer, songwriter and independent recording artist based in west Georgia. HIs music blends traditional country with southern rock and blues to create his own signature outlaw sound. His influences draw from Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Hank Jr., Steve Earle, Chris Knight, Travis Tritt, and Lynryrd Skynyrd.
His debut album "At The Crossroads" was released in 2007. Mike is currently finishing up a new album recorded in both Nashville and Atlanta that will be released in mid-to-late summer 2010. The new album will feature members of Travis Tritt's band, Grammy-Award winning Sara Evans fiddle player Bethany Olds, and several other local and national talents.
Mike and his band played a showcase to record labels in Nasville in March this year, won a Battle fo the Bands against 9 other bands in Atlanta in April, and one of his new songs CASH CROP is climbing the Indie charts at ReverbNation.
