Overview: I am from Southside Richmond, Virginia. My name is Elijah Hatchett aka IZREAL. I first started writing stories back in elementary school, which evolved into rhymes in middle school. The rhymes than evolved to music and its been a passion of mine ever since. At age 17 I was kicked out of my house due to my rebellious habits. Even though those times were rough back than it molded me into whom I am today. I was given the name Elijah Izreal by an old room mate of mine who was very influential. He went by the name of IKON. Basically my name sums up my character and my music. I am a real dude until the end that is always going to keep it all the way 100 and nothing less. Back in 2002 me and my partner Big Tweezy (Antwon Davis), started a group called The State of Emergency (SOE) hailing out of Southside Richmond.
