Overview: With their evocative brand of rootsy, southern/country-based rock and roll, Georgia has made its name as one of the South's most exciting new bands. Comprised of three talented brothers and an equally gifted (though unrelated) lead guitarist, the Atlanta-based quartet is release their debut LP "Slow Down Easy" on April 21, 2010. These 12 songs were produced by Mike Daley (formerly ofWhiskeytown) and engineered by six time grammy winner Joe Chicarelli (U2, White Stripes,Counting Crows). The record was mixed by Russ Fowler(John Mayer, Shawn Mullins, Stone Temple Pilots) and mastered by Hank Wiliams (Alan Jackson,Carried Underwood,Taylor Swift). In the past 3 years, Georgia has had the opportunity to open for The Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, and have toured extensively with Need To Breathe, Angie Aparo, Ryan Bingham, as well as Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers.
