Overview: Permacrush is a power rock trio with their eyes on the prize. Formed in 2005 by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Chris Crush, Permacrush has made a steady climb up the ranks and stood the test of time. They have four studio albums under their belt including their latest release, Snake Oil, featuring the hit single Only Friend which netted over 180,000 downloads on Microsofts Windows 7 Playlist 7 in a only a months time. Currently based in Indianapolis, the band features pop-punk bassist Chris Caudill and powerhouse drummer Chris Elberfeld. Yes, all three members of Permacrush share the same first name. The planets aligned on this one. We discussed changing the name of the band to PermaChris says frontman Chris Crush. Permacrush was on the Indie 500 Records label in Indianapolis until being signed to Dirtbag Records in April 2009. They are currently writing and recording material for their 5th studio album coming in 2011.
