Overview: I am a 25-year-old songwriter, who also sings and plays guitar. I have been playing guitar on and off since I was 14. I have always loved and enjoyed singing, and about three years ago, I got very into songwriting. I have over 60 lyrics written in journals, and I have turned about 20 of those lyrics into songs. Right now, I only have a few songs fully developed. My songs contain a variety of themes. Some of those themes are change, identity crisis, the fear of going away to college, and love. Writing is a catharsis for me, so when I am really frustrated or passionate about something, I can usually write a song in 10-15 minutes.. Then I go back and tweak it later. :) I dream of being a professional singer-songwriter someday. Words inspire me in so many ways. Reaching people through words is the primary reason why being a singer-songwriter is my dream.
