Overview: Joey Canyon has been singing since he was 8 years old, he first started to perform on stage at talent night at the world famous “Palomino Club” in North Hollywood, Ca. shortly thereafter he was asked to sing backup at a recording studio on an album where legendary Cliffie Stone was producing, he was hooked. Joey has spent over 30 years in the entertainment industry as a singer/songwriter, recording artist, performer, co-producer, co-director, and actor. His early performances included his band “Both Barrels”, as well as duets, and solo acts, and found him in some of the most noted recording studios and with some of the finest session musicians in the country from Los Angeles, the Rocky Mountain region, and Nashville, TN. Joey has collaborated with old hometown friend and award winning bass player Curtis Stone from "Highway 101".
