Fordie Hays

Overview: Every since attending a Travis Tritt concert at the age of four Fordie Hays knew he wanted to be on that stage singing and playing music. Now at the age of 22 he has spent most of his weekends playing at various venues in and around Nashville. While performing at Miss Kellys in Printers Alley (Nashville) Tommy Barnes, who wrote Indian Outlaw for Tim McGraw, introduced himself. So began a friendship that led Tommy to write Life in the Slow Lane for Fordie, which is Fordie's first original recording.

  UPDATES
I'm working in the studio with some award-winning song writers and excellent musicians. Once my cd is complete it will also include songs I've written.

My style of music is Country all the way. I can't discriminate between old and new because I've been raised on it all. When you love music and it's the passion deep within your soul , you love it all.

My upcoming cd will be what I like to call, "fun country". It's the kind of music that will have you smiling, dancing and it may just make you wanna climb in a 4x4 and sling a little mud.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY THIS PAGE TODAY! IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME........Fordie

  BIOGRAPHY
I was born with the love of music in my heart. I grew up listening to the musicality of my grandfather and his nine brothers. Every weekend the guitars came out and each brother sang the songs they wrote, along with so many great cover songs poplar in those times. Music, like blood, runs deep through my veins.

I moved to Nashville right after graduation to prepare myself for, and to learn as much as possible about, the music industry.

Music is the only dream I've ever known; the only road I've ever wanted to travel as far as it could go; and, along with my family, the love of my life.

My overall dream is to put music classes back into the school systems so kids can learn about music. By doing so the schools would be giving students a creative way to express themselves.
