Overview: Every since attending a Travis Tritt concert at the age of four Fordie Hays knew he wanted to be on that stage singing and playing music. Now at the age of 22 he has spent most of his weekends playing at various venues in and around Nashville.
While performing at Miss Kellys in Printers Alley (Nashville) Tommy Barnes, who wrote Indian Outlaw for Tim McGraw, introduced himself. So began a friendship that led Tommy to write Life in the Slow Lane for Fordie, which is Fordie's first original recording.
