Paris- Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan on November 20th, 1990. I started dancing and singing when I was 7 years old to Michael Jackson. I immediately had a love for the Arts of music, dance&acting. Over the years, I was discouraged my mother to not pursue any dreams that I had and I put it to the side to do what she wanted me to do. I started songwriting when I was 16 and grew learning how to reflect my feelings into songs.
On August 11th 2010, I finally had the chance to record some songs which one of them was my single Dance All Night (I Wanna Dance). The beat of the track was produced by a Dallas, Texas producer name Nick Rio who's credits are Gorilla Zoe, Paul Wall, Tum Tum, Lil Flip. I've had failed attempts to get it mixed and mastered because the two people I thought would do it lied and ignored ME. In November 2010, I was lucky to meet on Twitter a guy name Mark Penn, a 10+ Year professional Engineer and 2x Grammy Nomination producer who's a man of his word. In November 2010, Dance All Night (I Wanna Dance) was FINALLY mastered with a Major label sound.
Currently now in 2012, I FINALLY got Dance All Night (I Wanna Dance) mixed on my own and sounding right! I'm trying to get it officially heard and released all over worldwide. It's taking longer than I expected with recording more music but I'm working on it. My music is unique, exciting, FREE, REAL, and all around FUN. I try to take what I'm writing and saying into something you can feel and imagine. It's creative, different, original, and highly influenced by music artists who went to another place in music.
A singer who influenced ME the most would be Aaliyah because she did her own thing, tapped into different genres/sounds and mixed them together to make something timeless. I will strive to keep that type of music, her legacy going and represent that real natural talent which comes from Detroit. She taught ME to always stay true to myself no matter what and to be the best alI I can be.
I want to touch people's hearts, souls, minds, and make them dance like the music artists I've listened to growing up before ME. I'm just waiting to have my song FINALLY played on radio, for ME to be heard and let ME know I might have a chance. I know I can REALLY do it, show people my music is something to look forward to and exciting. All I need is a chance and my song played one time to give people an idea of where I can take music.
