Overview: Transitshop is an emerging alternative/electronic band who first started gaining momentum after Nick Hexum of 311 got his hands on a copy of their debut EP in the summer of 2010. This energetic trio is the latest project from Philadelphia based musician and producer Chris OBrien. They are known for their energetic and highly entertaining live performances. Their shows emphasize the good things that life has to offer and their upbeat tempo also spur lots of movement in the audience. Transitshop's grassroots approach to show promotion and their relentless pursuit to make sure everyone in the city knows of them and hears their music are main reason the band has arrived at its current status. Definitely not shy! These guys make sure they are at every single music event in the city and are often seen handing out free CDs at large concerts as well as small local shows. They love the scene and will stop at nothing to get their music heard.
