  BIOGRAPHY
Stainless Barrel is a band out of Escalon, California. The band has two original members from high school when the band was named "Metal Mayhem." In 2004 the "Metal Mayhem" band separated after each member parted ways after high school.

In May of 2009 "Metal Mayhem" got back together with all 4 original members. The 4 members included Anthony Cardoso (lead guitar), Luis Sousa (rhythm guitar and vocals), Adam Perez (bass guitar), and Kris Vanderwerff (drums). The band played a reunion birthday party in May of 2009. The band decided to get back together and begin writing music instead of doing covers which they use to do back in high school.

"Stainless Barrel" emerged after all 4 band members decided to change the name. The band was no longer feeling the band name "Metal Mayhem." The band agreed on the name change after an interest in guns.

After a few months the song "Caretaker" was created. A few months after Caretaker, the band started to stall. There became periods when the band would not practice for weeks at a time, because some of the band members had other priorities such as college and family life. The band also suffered from compatibility issues when writing music. The bass player (Adam Perez) quit the band in July 2010 because he no longer had time to practice, as he had other priorities in life. Months later in April of 2011 the lead guitarist (Anthony Cardoso) separated the band because of compatibility issues.

In July of 2010 the band acquired the bass player "Quinn Vanderwerff" which is the brother of Kris Vanderwerff. In the months to follow, "Tom Adams" took over for Anthony Cardoso. Tom Adams and Quinn Vanderwerff had been childhood friends and started playing music at an early age.

The band quickly finished their demo album and has started doing shows. Their music is considered metalcore. The band plans on releasing their full album in early 2012.
