Overview: We are an Island contemporary band thats hails out of Hilo on the Big island , we were together since 1999 playin all sorts of Island contemporary music then in 2002 we started playing reggae and was known as Island Harmony, In Oct. of 2009 the band split and was reformed in May 2010 translated the name into Hawaiian and MokuLeo was born, with 3 of Island Harmony's vocalist coming together and wanting to do something different with their music, We are presently in the works of recreating the early 70's sound of bands like Country Comfort , C&K and Kalapana, a style of music rarely heard anymore due to all the reggae bands popping out of the woodworks, we bring something new to the table with original music and a recreated sound of the past, and we're currently working on our Mokuleo debut album with good friend. great acoustic musician and engineer Rob Yamanoha. The album entitled "MokuLeo - A New Beginning; Back the way it was" will be finished at the end of summer of 2011
