Overview: After playing out for only three months, NYC-based power trio the happy problem brought the house down at the NAMM Show, where they garnered big endorsements from GHS Strings (No Doubt, Foo Fighters) and Rocktron Pedals (All-American Rejects). Founder, frontwoman and lead guitarist Samantha Shaber is a refugee from the folkie troubadour circuit, who traded in her Martin for a Telecaster and dyed her hair chili red en route to finding her true calling as alt rock's Anti-Katy Perry. The happy problem’s self-titled debut EP has already seen its energetic, addictive tunes featured in primetime on the CW ("Privileged"), ABC Family ("Greek"), MTV, E!, Cartoon Network and more, and they've just released the long-awaited full-length follow up, Head Case, with 9 original songs and a unique indiepunk take on 2 covers, "Material Girl" and the unexpected Petula Clark classic, "Downtown." This is indiepunk for a new generation.
