  BIOGRAPHY
Not only is there enough hook and melody for rock fans, THESE CITY LIMITS brings the right touch of technique to draw in progressive fans and captivating choruses to draw in pop fans. The sound is nice and thick, yet crispy and defined. Inventive lyrics are creatively enhanced by dark, eerie harmonies. TCL brings energetic guitars with unique melodies, solid bass and syncopated drums, culminating in an edgy, raw sound in character of Muse or My Chemical Romance.

Made up of members with various musical backgrounds, TCL believes that there is very little they cannot accomplish. Randy Vanderbilt (Lead Vocal and Guitar) and Adam Wilson (Drums) have known each other since 2004 — worked together on numerous recording projects over the years and playing together in 2008. Adam met Jesse Curtis (Guitar and Vocal) in 2009, and shredded metal melodies together on stage until joining up with Randy to form TCL in April 2011.

This alignment combines raw talent with inventive song writing resulting in a signature sound. Add in an unwavering dedication to do-it-yourself work ethic, this new comer to the Midwest music scene will be unstoppable. “Taking the DIY, or road-less-traveled approach has been our mind set since we started this band. We know there aren’t any handouts in our future,” said Wilson.
