Overview: Tim Jackson was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 12, 1991 to Latonya Walker and Vincent Charles Jackson. His birth name is Timothy Charles Jackson. He was the second child born of three children. His mother Latonya was a single parent who raised Timothy and two other siblings. The family relocated to four different states throughout Tim’s life. In 2004, the family relocated to Minnesota to seek better opportunities for the whole family. Tim decided at 15 years that he wanted to be a pop solo recording artist. Tim’s credits the Temptations, Commodores, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown as his music role models. Tim performed in numerous of talent shows throughout the twin cities and won most of the shows he performed in. He received professional vocal training throughout high school and from personal trainers. In 2010, Tim’s mom decided to take his career a step further by moving to Atlanta, GA to seek more music opportunities for Tim’s career. His mom manages his career.
