Overview: I was raised in Aurora , Il by my teen mother who had me when she was just 15 years old. My mother & my aunts spoon fed me music from Disney to Blues to Alternative to Gangster 90's rap so my music has the same versatility. In 5th grade I stared as the lead role as Annie. Growing up in the suburbs I could feel the racial tension from being a "black Annie" but I knew I got the role because of my voice. I had "it' & that experience only confirmed that I wanted to on the stage getting standing ovations for the rest of my life. Fall of 2008 I attended Tennessee State University where I was so inspired by the talent I made the choice to take my singing career seriously . I've been writing song since childhood but what I create now I feel is bigger than me. I tend to write how I speak which adds so much richness to my music. I'm not interested in safe , I only care about being innovative. I’m so in tune with my artistry & I know exactly who I am. I'm to share Breign with the world. Are you?
