Overview: Formed originally as a metal band in 2006 by guitarist Tony Browne and songwriting keyboardist Robert Hitchcock, Wings Burn Away gradually evolved into an act capable of drawing the interest of guitar shredders and radio listeners alike. Singer Grant Nelson ups the ante with an aggressive vocal style that energizes audiences while Hitchcock supplies an original-sounding digital element with keyboard parts that can range from ambience to incredibly fast lead lines. The guitar parts, played by Browne and bassist Cheese, provide support but are also riddled with progressive passages that leave no doubt of this band's musicality. All of this is backed by the in-your-face power drumming of Daniel Baughman, a sonic force that will bring everyone to the dance floor.
