Overview: Derek Evans is a touring musician from Dallas, Texas. In 2004 he moved to California to pursue a career in music. 7 years later he has toured the US with acts such as Jason Mraz, Blues Traveler, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Bob Schneider, Ryan Cabrera, Everclear, Erin McCarley, and many more. His single "The Wind Cries' will be featured on the Pop AND Singer-songwriter charts on ITUNES in September 2011. He has formed a band called "Derek Evans and The Evergreens" which has been selling out at colleges and clubs across Southern California. Most recently, various radio stations have started putting his single, "The Wind Cries" in regular rotation.
