 | How'd We End Up Here |
Robby Hopkins has opened for Randy Houser, Lauren Alaina, Aaron Tippin & Craig Morgan! On May 3, I'm opening up for Country Music Legend, Gene Watson, at the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga, TN! I'm country to the core. I'm a singer-songwriter mostly of country music, but I also write some country-gospel music. I was born near Spencer, Tennessee, into a family of pickers & singers. I grew up listening to Keith Whitley, Vern Gosdin, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, George Jones, Conway Twitty, John Anderson & more. I always had a guitar in my hand & even took it to school with me. I wrote my first song when I was about 16. Wrote a few more songs over the years. After I won a singer-songwriter competition judged by grammy-winning singer/songwriter Don Henry, I've really focused on my music & have written/started writing dozens more. I released my 1st cd, “How’d We End Up Here”, with 10 songs that I wrote & my band – Robby Hopkins Band -- performed. I'm at my best up on the stage, behind a microphone singing. Can't get enough of it!
