Overview: Built From Ashes was originally formed in 2007 under the leadership of Andrew Mortensen. Built From Ashes (BFA), quickly gained notoriety making new friends and fans. In 2009 BFA took on two new members Jake Blanco on bass, and Thomas Villarreal on drums. With this new rhythm section the band continues to grow and feeds off of each other’s different styles and influences. BFA continues strong till this day, and brings a diverse sound to each song which keeps fans wanting more.
