Overview: Ty Mayfield is a man of two cities. The Tulsa native spends much of his time during the year in Dallas attending Dallas Baptist University and studying music business. However, he can’t forget his roots and the loyal following that he has developed in his hometown. The road of life that Ty has traveled between Dallas and Tulsa has given him much of the inspiration for his debut album, GIVE ME A SECOND. Much of the album’s subject matter aims to be, in Ty’s words, “relatable, while dealing with love, heartbreak, having a great time, and breaking free, just to name a few." GIVE ME A SECOND is Ty’s first full-length studio album, a follow up to his 2010 release, the Curveball - EP. Produced in Nashville by Joe Kane and released to worldwide audiences in April 2011, Give Me A Second has seen positive responses from both listeners
