Overview: Joanna grew up sharing her fathers love of music. Joanna got her first taste of performing during school concerts and at the age of 13 she formed an all-girl band. Joanna's love for music was matched only by her desire to help and care for others. It was this passion that led Joanna to obtain a BS in nursing and later a Masters Degree from Yale University in Hospital Administration.
Performing was never far from her heart. Joanna began taking acting classes at the famed HB Studios in NYC, where her teachers included Uta Hagen and Sir Anthony Hopkins. This led to her performing in a series of three one-woman shows in NYC. Reviewers, including Backstage and The Village Voice, praised the amazing range and emotion of her voice, and declared her performances captivating and entertaining. It wasn't until the untimely death of her beloved father that Joanna realized she wanted to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a Recording Artist and Songwriter.
