Started off with just Jay Hurtt, a 17 year old in his basement playing southern back porch trombone. Then summer 2012 he picked up guitar and harmonica. He released an album entitled "Flipping the Bird" in September 2012. After an autumn afternoon in mid September 2012 Jay found Lephont Crackawhip on the streets of Annapolis. Jay took him in to clean him up from living alone homeless. Lephont then changed his name to James Rubush and then picked up guitar, and piano. The rest will be history.
