Overview: Kim Edwards is a 24-year-old, East Coast-raised, Dallas-based singer-songwriter. She began taking piano lessons at 4 years old and grew up listening to a healthy dose of everything from The Beach Boys to Mozart to Billy Joel. Founded on mellow piano tones with an appreciation for chamber pop, Kim's style is often compared to artists such as Ingrid Michaelson and Regina Spektor (with a hint of the Beatles). Kim released her first 4-song, self-titled EP in May 2009. Recorded with producers Will Hunt (Bethany Dillon, Shane & Shane, Amy Lee) and Ken Calderon, the EP garnered independent radio play and international fans. Kim's newest record, "Wanderlust" (produced by Randy Adams) reached #25 on iTunes' Singer/Songwriter Chart upon release in March 2012. Armed with tremendous support from her ever-growing fan base, Kim has toured nationally in support of "Wanderlust", opening for acts such as Jars of Clay and Shirock.
