Overview: Who will be the next new artist to rise to the top? Many of his fans would answer that question with: Bobby Harper! Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Bobby grew up in a family of musicians. Often described as gifted by teachers, audiences, and fellow musicians, he was able to learn 13 different instruments without any professional instruction as well as sing. At the age of 16, Bobby began playing shows with his band in local bars and venues as its lead vocalist. Shortly after high school, he enrolled at the University of North Florida majoring in music education and performance for which he was awarded a scholarship. During his time there, he made the trip home every weekend and even some school nights to play shows opening for Molly Hatchet, Atlanta Rhythm Company, just to name a few. Bobby is a true product of the south and a huge fan of country music.
