Overview: Always writing, always thinking, and, most of all, always rocking. Chasing City Lights is a three piece rock band founded in May of 2012 by two good friends. Garrett Teal (Vocals/Guitar shredding) and Kyle "Yogi" Owens (Bass enthusiast), who had been jamming together since 2006 would later pick up Brian Hutyra (Drum extraordinaire) through a mutual friend. The name Chasing City Lights came from the band's description of themselves and what they are attempting to accomplish. "We're all chasing those big city lights, trying to get our names out there and make our dreams come true." "CCL" as it's sometimes abbreviated, is known for their original material, band chemistry, and disco-turbo-blues-rock-funk improvisational solos and sessions during live performances. All three guys play "inside the pocket" with so much undeniable chemistry and charisma, that it's impossible to miss how well each riff, roll, fill, and note intertwines to craft a sound that is truly unique.
