Martin Harley is an internationally acclaimed slide guitar prodigy who is marking his U.S. debut with the release of his brand new solo album Mojo Fix on 60/20 Records, now available at iTunes. The album comes on the heels of celebrating a #1 album on the iTunes UK blues chart in 2011 with his highly praised UK-based acoustic trio, the Martin Harley Band, for Drumrolls for Somersaults. Martin Harley is a deeply important and respected voice in the evolution of popular blues and folk oriented guitar and vocals. With a wealth of experience under his belt, it is no surprise that his life is interwoven with his music, every song telling the tale of a life well lived. As a player, he fuses remarkable musicianship with intuition and a deeply ingrained musical understanding, the resulting Mojo Fix is laden with songs that are at once world-worn and timeless. He continues to work on honing his craft as a musician and songwriter and is now expanding on his international success with recent time spent traveling between the U.S. and the U.K. on a radio tour and opening for artists over the past year like G Love & Special Sauce, Five For Fighting, Beth Hart, Good Old War, Gavin DeGraw, James Morrison, Scars on 45, Mieko, and The Dunwells. Martin is currently on the road opening for blues-hop singer ZZ Ward and rock band Delta Rae on their co-headlining ‘Fire And Shine’ tour across the country.
