(my tree this year!)

There are a few Christmas songs that I LOVE and I just can't wait to hear them every year... its not the holidays without them. They all remind me of different Christmases and have different memories that go along with them!

For my money, the greatest Christmas songs of all time are:

"Mele Kalikikaka" - Bing Crosby (my parents live in sunny Florida so Christmas + island song just feels right to me!)

"The Christmas Waltz" - Frank Sinatra (not one you hear very often and its one of Frank's best)

"Til Santa's Gone" - Clint Black (my siblings and I used to BEG my mom to play this on repeat when we were little!)

"Same Old Lang Syne" - Dan Fogelberg (sort of sad but just reminds of Christmases growing up because we had this on tape!)

"It Doesn't Have to Be That Way" - Jim Croche (also not one you hear often, but a favorite)

"I'll Be Home for Christmas" - Bing Crosby (his is the best version of the classic! Anyone who has ever spent a Christmas without family knows this song is a tear jerker)

"Dominic the Donkey" - Doug Kershaw (we LOVED this song as kids... goofy, different, and the donkey is Italian like me!)

"Santa Claus is Coming to Town" - Bruce Springsteen live version (this version is SO great because you can hear the joy and laughter of everyone from Bruce to the crowd and the band. That's what Christmas music should be all about!)
