Just a quick reminder to everyone... when you head out today or tomorrow, please be safe!
Be extra cautious on the roads. 90% of all Americans who travel for Thanksgiving are driving, not flying! And traditionally, this week is the deadliest of the year for car accidents.
So be prepared!
Bring a GPS and maps, in case you need to find a back road.
Fill the tank before you hit the highway... you don't want to be rushing to the next exit.
Keep kids occupied in the backseat so they don't distract you; bring plenty to do and download some games on your cell phone for an extra treat.
Have a sleeping bag in the trunk, along with a first aid kit, some bottled water, and jumper cables.

Don't drive if you're tired! Its not worth it! If you eat too much and you're feeling woozy, take a nap before hitting the road or consider staying put. This should go without saying but if you're drinking, of course, do not get in the car.
40% of the fatal car accidents on Thanksgiving last year were caused by drunk driving.
Be thankful for your health and keep it that way! Stay safe!
