The story behind this video is truly, truly sad. It adds another dark twist to the terrible story we've been reporting all week about Mindy McCready's death.

Days before Mindy took her own life, had this video produced to accompany a recently recorded song of hers, which she intended as a suicide-prevention PSA, after recently losing her boyfriend, David Wilson, to suicide.

A friend of Mindy's, Dan Hanks, produced the video, and had this to say: "She told me that it was beautiful, it made her cry and was exactly what she wanted. I asked her if I could post it and Mindy's answer was, 'You'll know when it's right.' In hindsight she was having me produce her suicide video."
