***SPOILERS***

Sometimes you just want to go to a comedy and when you're in the mood for something light, something that's under two hours is also attractive. That's what I was thinking when I went to see The Incredible Burt Wonderstone earlier this week.

Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carrell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Vegas strip, headlining at Bally's for ten years. But now, they're facing some stiff competition from street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), who seems to come up with a new daredevil  stunt every week. While Burt and Anton, childhood friends, are watching their audiences shrink, Steve is the talk of the town.

Olivia Wilde plays Jane,  an assistant to both Burt and Steve at various times who is a magician in her own rite.  While there are some laugh-out-loud moments in this movie, chances are it won't make it in to your top ten favorites of all time. At the same time, you probably won't see this film as a waste of time or money.

Side note: Jim Carrey always makes me slightly uncomfortable, but Alan Arkin also has a role in this movie and I love watching him on the big screen anytime I get the chance!
