There's been a lot of talk about Chykie Brown's snow angel in the confetti after the Ravens Super Bowl victory. It was a heartwarming and exciting moment for Ravens fans all over. And you all have the New England Patriots to thank for that moment.
The trend of Super Bowl snow angels started back in 2002 after the Patriots beat the Oakland Raiders in the dreaded "tuck rule" game. You may remember that there was a lot of snow during that game. As soon as the final whistle sounded, Patriots long snapper Lonie Paxton ran into the endzone and did a snow angel.

Three weeks later when New England shocked the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI he did it again in the end zone of the Super Dome.
There have been a few other players to do it in other Super Bowl's since. Including Paxton in the other Patriots' championships.
Congratulations to Chykie Brown and the rest of the Ravens. I hope you all soak up as much of the excitement as you can. Just be sure to give a thank you to Paxton and the Patriots for such a wonderful idea for a celebration.
