My review: Lately, when people ask me how a movie is, all I've been able to say is, "Ehh, it was ok." That's to be expected this time of year. The big blockbusters don't start hitting the theaters until May, but there's usually a couple good ones by now. Nothing has really stood out yet. The Incredible Burt Wonderstone follows that trend. It's a decent movie. I laughed a bit and enjoyed the characters, but it's not something that you need to rush out and see. I
t's a pretty standard and generic comedy. "Wonderstone" is the kind of movie you'd expect Will Ferrel to do, but he's not in it. Jim Carrey's return to the big screen is great. I wish his character had a bigger role in the film. I don't think you'll ever hear me complain about seeing Olivia Wilde in a movie. Not only is she smoking hot, but she's a great actress as well. Steve Carrel and Steve Buschemi are their usual selves. They're not exactly breaking the mold here.
If you're looking for an excuse to get out of the house and have a laugh, this should work for you. But, so would a movie on TBS that you can watch for free.
