Football analysts always say that one of Ray Rice's biggest strengths is his size. Because he is shorter than most players, Rice is able to squeeze through small holes and sometimes be unseen by the defense.
At 5-foot-8 and 212 pounds, Ray Rice is a giant compared to Rice University's newest running back, Jayson Carter. Due to a genetic disorder, Carter stands just 4-foot-9 130-lbs. But, that hasn't stopped him from pursuing his love of playing football. In high school, Carter ran for over 1,200 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also played defense racking up 92 tackles, 3 sacks and an interception. From all accounts, he's a real stand-up guy, too. His coach called him, "A dime in a jar full of nickles."
Jayson Carter got his first collegiate playing time over the weekend. Someone caught it on video. Good for you, man.
