America's favorite quirky girl, Zooey Deschanel, will be coming back to your TV next season. Fox has announced that its hit comedy, New Girl, will be coming back for a third season. Rightfully so. It is hands down the funniest show on television...at least that's my opinion.
The networks meet every year around this time and they give us a good hard look at who's staying, who's going and what's going to be new in the fall. Here's a little rundown of what we know right now about the renewals and cancelations. What do you think?
CBS
Renewed: 2 Broke Girls, 48 Hours, 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, The Big Bang Theory, Blue Bloods, CSI, Elementary, The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-O (really?), How I Met Your Mother (the FINAL SEASON!), The Mentalist, Mike & Molly, NCIS, NCIS: LA, Person of Interest, Survivor, Two and a Half Men, Undercover Boss.
I suppose it would have been easier just to say they've renewed everything.
Canceled: Made in Jersey, Partners
FOX
Renewed: American Dad, American Idol, Bob's Burgers, Bones, Family Guy, The Following (Yes!!!), Glee, Hell's Kitchen, Hotel Hell, Kitchen Nightmares, The Mindy Project, New Girl, Raising Hope, The Simpsons, The X Factor.
Canceled: Ben & Kate, The Mob Doctor, Cops (it's about time)
NBC - We're still waiting for announcements on most of their shows so this list is a little light.
Renewed: Revolution (are they serious?), Chicago Fire, Grimm, Law & Order: SVU, Parenthood
Canceled: Animal Practice, Do No Harm, Ready For Love
ABC - We don't know much about their renewed shows but we do have a few cancellations
Canceled: Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, 666 Park Avenue, Last Resort, Zero Hour
(ABC should probably just cancel everything that's over 1/2 hour long and start over)
The CW
Renewed: Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries (they must have read my letters), America's Next Top Model, Hart of Dixie.
Canceled: 90210, Emily Owens, M.D.
