Since 1977, St. Jude has been designated as a Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. In 2008, the hospital achieved comprehensive status. The Comprehensive Cancer Center at St. Jude has well-defined yet highly integrated programs, excellent shared resources, a collaborative culture and a mission that is fundamentally the same as the overall organizational mission.
Patient of the Month: Dawson - 7 years old
Diagnosis: Dawson was found to suffer from acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April 2011. Read his story here.
