Kennedy Krieger Institute’s 31st Annual Festival of Trees

Celebrate the Holidays from Home with Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Virtual Festival of Trees!

All is sure to be merry and bright this holiday season as the 31st annual Festival of Trees returns from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, November 29, 2020. With the health and safety of festival-goers being of utmost concern, Kennedy Krieger Institute will transform the iconic holiday event from a three-day in-person gathering to a hybrid experience. Although modified from previous years, the event still benefits the over 25,000 children and families that Kennedy Krieger serves each year and will feature unique, custom-decorated artificial trees that will be available for purchase online, online shopping with hundreds of gift options from hand-selected vendors, an online auction site with many one-of-a-kind items, and live virtual entertainment opportunities, including a concert by Milkshake, story time with local celebrities, a performance of the Nutcracker by Ballet Chesapeake , a Q&A with Santa, and more. Tree and wreath sales, the auction, and a vendor gift marketplace will be available online, around-the-clock, throughout the weekend. Attendees can also participate in timed, fun, interactive activities and entertainment for all ages each day, and there will be special surprises for families to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes.

General admission tickets for the event this year are FREE and the virtual format allows families from near and far to experience the magic of Festival of Trees.
